Provides expertise by providing educational policies and practices; training educators; evaluating teaching methods; providing educational content; maintaining compliance with regulations.
Duties:
* Develops specific subject area or grade level criteria by planning and coordinating educational policies.
* Trains educators by developing programs for in-service education.
* Develops curricula and establishes guidelines for educational programs by conferring with federal, state, and local school officials.
